The Colombo International Dance and Folklore Festival Association is a Sri Lankan non-profit dedicated to preserving the beauty of classical and folk dance while creating meaningful opportunities for dancers to shine on international stages.
Through festivals, cultural exchanges, performances, and community-led initiatives, CIDFA brings together artists from Sri Lanka, South Asia, and beyond to celebrate tradition, creativity, and the living heritage of dance. We welcome performers of all ages and skill levels, helping them grow with confidence, discipline, and pride in their cultural roots.

Southern coastal Sri Lanka
Originating from the southern coastal regions of Sri Lanka, Low Country Dance is deeply rooted in ancient healing rituals and folk traditions. This vibrant dance style features expressive movements, colorful masks, powerful drumming, and ceremonial performances that reflect local beliefs and customs.
